It’s All About Preparation

Life is all about preparing so that you are ready when the opportunity presents itself.

Even at 16, it can happen when you are in your initial weeks of lifeguarding, preparation makes all the difference. Here we have a rescue from this past weekend - one of 25 - in Santa Cruz County where the ocean swells were brutal. Being a hero wasn't expected and his preparation made it possible.
